Today, I am going to show a case of nasal silicone removal and revision rhinoplasty.
This is a case from Dr. Cho Bae-Jung of KOKO PLASTIC SURGERY CLINIC.
This woman had a rhinoplasty using nasal silicone implant a long time ago.
However, as time goes, her nose has changed to short.
So, she wanted to do revision rhinoplasty.
Nasal shortening after rhinoplasty using silicone implant is common complication.
Fortunately, her case was not that serious though need to remove it.
After removed silicone implant, did a nasal bridge augmentation using dermis.
But, there was not enough septal cartilage to do tip plasty.
So, used donated rib cartilage and ear cartilage.
Now, her nose become longer than before, and her nasal bridge has natural line with curved shape.
