This woman had rhinoplasty using an L-shaped nasal silicone implant. (20 years ago)
She had no problem with her nose until she got an infection.
Unfortunately, when she has got an nasal infection, did not get antibiotic treatment.
To treat her nasal infection, she decided to do revision rhinoplasty.
Dr. Jin Hong-Ryul removed the nasal silicone implant, granulation tissues, and irrigated the nose clean.
After 1 year, her nose look clean and the skin wound healed well although her nasal bridge is not as high as before.
In 9 cases out of 10 alloplast infection, the implant needs removal for infection control.
When revising this kind of infection, no alloplast should be used again.
