1) L-typed silicone implant
L-typed silicone implant cover from nasal dorsum to tip. But nose tip skin is thin and is composed of cartilage.
In case a silicone implant placed on the nose tip, it can cause nasal tip infection or implant visible.
And Nasal bridge is composed of bone and cartilage -> Not movable part.
But the Nasal tip is composed of cartilage -> Movable part.
They are a different part.
Therefore, if cover nasal bridge and tip using L-shaped silicone, it can make nose unnatural results.
2) Thin nasal skin
When a patient has a thin skin, if insert the thick and sharp of nasal silicone implant, can make visible of the outline through the skin.
This woman got disappointed from her result because her nose changed to sharp and can see her implant through the skin.
So she decided to have revision rhinoplasty.
