Once a nose is deviated, it becomes off-center and disproportionate, which would create a bad influence for aesthetic look external.
However, many deviated nose cases have deviated nasal septum (intranasal membrane that separates nasal airway into two) along with nose bone.
Such cases of nasal septum deviated into one side is called ‘deviated nasal septum’ and affects breathing heavily.
Therefore, deviated nose rhinoplasty must resolve aesthetic aspect as well as functional aspect.
One can be born with deviated nose, but it may occur after falling down on a floor or going through vigorous activities like boxing.
In other cases, nose can be deviated after rhinoplasty. Such cases are due to deviation of nose implants.
It mostly occurs due to incorrect location of implant and can be resolved once it is located correctly.
When you got your nose hurt and deviated, if deviation is not too bad or has occurred within a week, the nose bone can be corrected with “correction using a special instrument.
However, if you are bone with deviated nose or have severe deviation after accident, or it has been long, deviated nose rhinoplasty is performed with “Osteotomy” which fractures bilateral nose bone to correct its location.

As deviated nose must improve aesthetic aspect and as explained before, nose function must be improved simultaneously, deviated nose rhinoplasty goes through a rather complex process.
1) Diagnosis of nasal bone and nasal septum
2) Nasal fracture and correction to center axis
3) If nasal septum is deviated, it is corrected
