In case silicone implant placed incorrectly, movement or unsatisfied result, then it is OK that exchange it to another type of silicone or gore-tex implant.
However if it caused infection, nasal contraction or other complications, then should not use artificial material again.
Patient’s own ear or rib cartilage is the best material.
Or you can choose donated-rib cartilage if you don’t want to have a painful procedure with the harvesting of rib cartilage and a scar on that area.
